Baška abounds with about thirty pebble beaches and they can be reached on foot or by boat. However, the largest and one of the most beautiful is “Vela plaža”. It is surrounded by numerous bars, restaurants, pizzerias, coffee bars, hotels, private apartments for accommodation and other facilities. “Vela plaža” is a natural pebble beach, 1800 m long, which can accommodate several thousand bathers. It is especially suitable for children and non-swimmers.
Baška has many cultural sights so it is very interesting for history lovers. Also, as it is surrouned with mountains so there are many hiking trails. This place is a real diamond for summer vacations of all kinds.
